One of the essential parts of the Global Initiative by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Care has reportedly announced about the 2019 edition of the acclaimed “Adopt a School” initiative. By the looks of it, the initiative involving fundraising has invited a few individuals from the UAE and with UAE organizations for adopting a single or a couple of schools in Malawi, Cambodia, Senegal and also in Nepal.
The donors have the ultimate opportunity in traveling alongside their colleagues, family, and friends on a seven-day volunteering mission by immersing themselves in the local community for hosting news schools. With the help of the Initiative, they will also be able to connect, understand & appreciated the region’s local culture.
To adopt only 3-classroom secondary and primary school, it will cost the donors a little of AED 162,500. And this little sum of money will benefit 200 students across Cambodia. On the other than if the donors will donate, AED 132,000 then it will get easier for them to adopt a primary school with two classrooms and this will benefit 100 students across Malawi. By donating AED 152,500 and AED 142,000, it will be easier to put a primary school with three classrooms that will help 90 of the Nepalese students and 2-classroom primary school that will benefit 60 students in République du Sénégal.
The funds are not only going to cover construction of schools in some of the essential communities; instead, it will include the provision of supplying book, latrines for gender-specific as well as adult literacy courses.
Dubai Cares’ chief executive officer said that they are exceptionally grateful for the continuous support and interest that they are getting from different communities from UAE concerning their initiative, “Adopt a School.” The initiative is going to provide a satisfactory quality of education to the schools in developing nations.
